Established in 2005, our family-owned and -operated farm prides itself in offering you and your horse the finest individual care. LMF offers you peace of mind, and allows you to ride and enjoy your horse on your own schedule.

Our Mission

In 2003, Chris and her daughter, Jackie, bought their horse, Brownie. A 16.2hh, 1,300lb Percheron/Thoroughbred cross, Brownie was not only big and young, but green to boot. Although he had good intentions, he spooked easily and was uncomfortable in many situations, including schooling and show barns alike. This forced Chris and Jackie to move Brownie to three different barns within the first two years they owned him. Eventually, Chris began to wish they could find a small, peaceful barn with the facilities necessary for Jackie and Brownie's training, and began to joke that Brownie would be happiest in their backyard. One year later, that joke became a reality and Lost Meadow Farm was born.

Because of our history, we strive to provide an environment that is stress-free for your horse, yet has the space needed for your riding/training needs. View our Services and Facilities pages for more information!
